Creative DeZine Season1

Adobe Live

Creative DeZine was my first solo show on Adobe Live, where I guided viewers through the process of creating a DIY zine titled Creative Juice. The goal was to showcase how Adobe tools could be used to design an 8-page zine that’s not only visually appealing but also easy to print at home, while maintaining a cohesive visual identity throughout.

The creative process started with Adobe Firefly for brainstorming, which sparked the development of the Creative Juice concept. Digital ideas were transformed into hand-drawn illustrations, adding a personal touch to the project.

In later episodes, Adobe Illustrator refined the zine’s main character, CJ, by building a versatile character library with various expressions and poses. Illustrator also helped establish a consistent color palette, typography, and layout, ensuring a unified look across all pages.

Each page of Creative Juice was carefully crafted to integrate engaging illustrations with storytelling, making the final layout both striking and functional. The 8-page zine/poster format allowed for a smooth flow between the visual and written elements.

The project also extended into merchandise design with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, creating branded items like stickers and tote bags. Finally, Adobe Express was used to launch a marketing campaign with social media graphics and videos to generate interest and reach a broader audience.

The community response was overwhelmingly positive, with viewers appreciating how Adobe tools worked together to create a zine that was easy to reproduce at home. Creative DeZine set the stage for future solo projects and demonstrated the impact of creative storytelling through design.
